How to request deletion

Write from the email address associated with the account
This allows us to verify that the request comes from you. A request sent from another address cannot be processed without further verification.

Use ‘Delete my account’ as the subject
Include your business name in the message. Never include a password in an email.

We acknowledge your request
You receive a confirmation, and deletion is then completed within thirty days at the latest.
What is deleted
- Your login ID and password.
- Your profile: name, job role, phone number and photo.
- Your food hygiene training information and supporting documents.
- Your link to the business and your access permissions.
What is kept, and why
The hygiene records you completed — temperature logs, tracked batches, cleaning, deliveries and non-conformities — belong to the business, not to you. They provide evidence of its food safety obligations and cannot be deleted simply because someone leaves.
These entries retain their author’s name and timestamp: a hygiene record without an author or date has no evidentiary value during a food safety inspection. Removing this information would amount to falsifying evidence.

If you are the business’s last manager
Deleting the last manager account deletes the business and all of its records, for everyone. This action is permanent.
Export anything you need to keep first. You can download the inspection file as a PDF from the app’s Suivi (Monitoring) tab.
We will remind you before carrying out your request and give you time to complete this export.
Removing only the app
Uninstalling Sanito from your phone deletes neither your account nor your data: you can sign in again and find everything. Only the request described above deletes your account.
